When your Dedicated IP add-on is ready and you have domains on the shared IP, a card on Sending › Domains says those domains are still on the shared IP.
- The card lists the domains that will move.
- Click Move to dedicated IP.
During the move:
- Sending never stops. Traffic shifts to the new IP gradually; the new IP warms up over about 6 weeks. You don't need to do anything.
- The card shows the preparing, warming and finishing steps in turn.
If the card shows an SPF warning for a domain, add include:sendgrid.net to that domain's SPF record before moving; otherwise mail from the new IP will fail SPF.
You can see your IPs and which domains they are connected to on Sending › IPs.
