Sending › Blocked addresses (Suppressed contacts) lists the addresses your workspace will no longer send marketing email to. Outfound keeps the list automatically.
An address gets on the list for one of these reasons (the Reason column):
- Hard bounce: the address is permanently unreachable (hard bounce).
- Spam complaint: the recipient marked your email as spam.
- Unsubscribed: the recipient used the unsubscribe link in your email.
- Manual block: the address was added to the list by hand.
- GDPR erasure: the person's data was removed after an erasure request.
Hard bounces, spam complaints, manual blocks and GDPR erasures stop all sending to that address. An unsubscribe applies only to the sender domain concerned.
You can filter the list by sender domain. Even if these addresses are in your campaigns, they are not emailed; you don't need to do anything.
The page is view-only: you can't add addresses here or remove them from the list. If you think an address is on the list by mistake, write to us in the support chat with the address.
