On the setup screen each DNS record shows a status:
- Verified: the record was found and is correct.
- Propagating: the record is starting to show up but isn't updated everywhere yet. Wait a little and check again.
- Not found: the record is missing or its value is wrong. Compare the name and value with the setup screen.
In a two-NS-record setup you see the NS status instead: The NS records aren't visible yet or NS records found, verifying. In the second case the screen keeps checking on its own.
The domain can be used in campaigns once the records needed for sending (SPF, DKIM, DMARC and the sending CNAME) are verified; the setup dialog then says the domain is ready.
The list shows Pending Setup Domains and Verified Domains in separate sections. For an eight-record setup, click the pending domain to get back to its records. A domain set up with NS shows Setup is running on its own and the number of steps done on its card; if you haven't added the NS records yet, the card's Check now takes you back to the NS step.
Outfound re-checks the records regularly on its own; use Check now if you don't want to wait. If a verified record is later deleted or changed, the domain goes back to a warning state.
