Are email addresses verified, and where do they come from?

People are found through B2B data providers and the company's own website; addresses are checked with a verification service.

People at companies that fit are found through professional B2B data providers and, where needed, the company's own website. They are ranked by the priority titles set in the copilot.

Every email address is checked with an email verification service. In the results table's Email column you see one of two states:

  • Verified: the address was checked and is valid.
  • Not verified: the address could not be verified; the domain may accept every address, or verification did not respond. These addresses carry a higher bounce risk.

You don't need a separate verification tool. To keep your bounce rate low, prefer verified addresses in campaigns where you can.

Addresses that bounce permanently are added to Blocked addresses automatically and are never emailed again.
